Invitation of the Qur’ân

There is much more to learn and know about the Qur’ân, but we conclude this article now with an invitation to you, dear reader: You have hopefully read through with an open mind and now we pray that you are also blessed with an open heart to the invitation of the Qur’ân, a selection of which follows below:

Say: He is Allah, the One!
Allah, the eternally Besought of all!
He begets not, nor was begotten.
And there is none comparable unto Him.[1]

When the Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake;
And the Earth yields up her burdens,
And man says: What ails her?
That day she will relate her chronicles,
Because your Lord will have inspired her.
That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds.
And whoso does an atom's weight of good will see it then,
And whoso does an atom's weight of evil will see it then.[2]

The Calamity!
What is the Calamity?
Ah! What will convey unto you what the calamity is?
A day wherein mankind will be as thickly scattered moths,
And the mountains will become as carded wool.
Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works),
He will live a pleasant life.
But as for him whose scales are light,
The Bereft and Hungry One will be his mother.
Ah! What will convey unto you what she is?
A raging fire.[3]

The legacy of the Prophet:

O Prophet! Lo! We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner;
And as a summoner unto Allâh by His permission, and as an illuminated lamp;
And announce unto the believers the good tidings that they will have great bounty from Allâh.[4]

The decree of the Almighty:

(O Mankind!) This day have I perfected your religion for you, and completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you as the way of life: Islâm.[5]
